Ebony's Dawn...Queen of the Twilight

With a savage grace…she dances in shadows. An ancient and lethal beauty, she draws the darkness with her…extinguishing the light of the sun. Yet in the darkness she carries all of the colors of a solar wind. We bow and pay homage to her as she watches us through the veil of dreams…. she is Ebony’s Dawn, Queen of the Twilight

YES she is finally finished and even deigned to tell me her name! This lovely little Queen stands 6 inches tall, Her wingspan is seven inches and she is eleven inches from nose to end of tail. She was created using sculpey clay worked over a wire and foil armature. She is painted in many layers of art quality acrylic. Her colors appears to change depending on the light due to the addition of pearl metallic powder to some of her colors. The red especially has a copper metallic look to it in the right light. Her eyes are red swarovsky crystals. Sometimes they appear almost black and sometimes they come to life with a fiery red glow. I swear there are times when you almost expect her to move as she looks as if she could come to life at any minute. This lovely lady took over 80 hours to create. She is SOLD!!!!
